Technical Release ManagerLocation - Seattle WA (Hybrid) Rate – DOE Start Date – DOE Core responsibility -Focus is on releasing enterprise applications and understanding of integrations to be able to drive this self-sufficiently. Should have deployment and cloud application background. The Technical Delivery Manager role contributes to client success by managing and facilitating the product release process and execution across the Digital Platform Engineering (DPE) organization.
The person will be responsible for shipping the product into production every 2 weeks, understanding dependencies and will be driving end to end load testing and working with cross functional team through test sign-off. The person will need to be onsite at client location 3 days a week. The Technical Delivery Manager role contributes to success by managing and facilitating the product release process and execution across the Digital Platform Engineering (DPE) organization.
This role also supports various tech initiative delivery within the DPE organization. This candidate has a technical background and attention to detail enable them to identify risks, drive development with predictability and challenge assumptions.Job DescriptionFacilitate the overall release delivery process, coordinate release activities and dependencies across products and teamsMaintain overall release schedule and coordinate with cross functional groups on cross team dependencies and release readiness activitiesOwn release status updates and provide clarity to all stakeholders, including the team, on progress towards the agreed milestonesMeasure release effectiveness leveraging data trends and metrics to improve the overall customer experienceSupport various tech initiative delivery by driving implementation planning, support testing, and go-to market planning and executionSupport project timelines, clearly setting expectations, and realigning expectations internally as priorities changeSummary of Qualifications and ExperienceTechnology producer, Technical delivery manager, IT project management delivery or program management office experience (10+ years)Managing digital product or service delivery and release in an agile environment (8-9 years)Able to work across disciplines for alignment on product delivery expectationsAcumen and Learning Agility:Expert-level knowledge of standards and practices for IT project and program lifecycle management activities and deliverablesUnderstanding of IT program and portfolio management practices.Clear understanding of project technical activities, including: (1) solution analysis and design; (2) enterprise, solution, and infrastructure architecture; (3) systems integration; (4) data conversion and migration; (5) environment management and build processes; and (6) deployment planning and execution.Expertise in productivity/collaboration tools, particularly Jira, confluence, ServiceNowAdvanced skills in the MS Office Product Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
