Job Overview
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager with a strong technical background who can bridge program management and hands-on technical teams.
Key Responsibilities

  • Drive technical programs while coordinating across multiple teams.
  • Understand technical requirements, issues, dependencies, and implementation challenges.
  • Work closely with engineering and other technical teams to understand and evaluate technical issues.
  • Participate in bug triage, track issues using appropriate tracking tools, and drive them toward resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to gather information and translate requirements into actionable next steps.
  • Evaluate technical discussions and determine whether proposed solutions and implementation approaches are practical.
  • Communicate technical information effectively to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Follow up with relevant teams to ensure issues, dependencies, and action items are progressing.
  • Independently gather information, analyze it, and communicate what needs to be done.
  • Help drive programs forward rather than simply coordinating meetings or maintaining project documentation.
Key Requirements
  • Strong Technical Program Management experience.
  • Java experience is required.
  • Prior hands-on technical/development experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to understand code-level/technical discussions and communicate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Experience with bug tracking, triage, and issue management.
  • Strong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work with external teams and gather/interpret technical requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to independently investigate technical issues and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal handholding.

This is not a traditional PMO role focused primarily on scheduling meetings, preparing status reports, or maintaining documentation. The ideal candidate must have sufficient technical depth to understand technical issues, evaluate discussions with engineering teams, triage and track bugs, and work cross-functionally to drive issues through resolution.
