Technical Program Manager, Mission Autonomy

Overall, this work will be diverse in nature, span a variety of software technologies, and require you to be flexible to adapt to changing situations.

During all this, you must be able to successfully work with a wide variety of technical stakeholders, communicate plans clearly to all parties, and coordinate across teams to achieve the desired end state. WHAT YOU'LL DODrive scoping and execution of different initiatives that make up the Mission Autonomy business line. These initiatives will enable the success of the Mission Autonomy Business LineCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, other program managers, chief engineers, test and evaluation, business operations, and finance to meet objectivesSupport the execution of functional engineering roadmaps to ensure they align with long-term strategic bets and program needsLead execution of early-phase programs that have been won through the capture process. This will involve external customer relationship managementREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institutionA technical career backgroundWillingness to travel, this is a travel heavy opportunity (up to 70%)Deep familiarity with subsystems and knowledge of robotics systems that you have previously worked onEvidence in understanding technical tradeoffs and how to reduce risk through key development effortsExceptional organizational and analytical skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives concurrentlyProven experience in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, influencing engineering teams, and interacting with leadership stakeholdersOutstanding communication abilities, adept at conveying intricate plans and outcomes to stakeholders at all levelsMust be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSDirect experience in leading product development related to or Unmanned Vehicle (UxV) development within the robotics sectorsKnowledge of hardware + software development practices and best practices for autonomous robotics systemsStartup experience: wearing different hats that go beyond the scope outlined in your job descriptionUS Salary Range$129,000—$171,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
