Job Summary:
Provides mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other sites, ensuring diagnostic imaging quality and technical accuracy. Supports patient care teams through timely and professional radiologic services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit for radiologist interpretation.
- Unload portable X-ray equipment and set up exams according to physician orders, obtaining diagnostically quality images.
- Conduct EKGs as required and transmit results to Cardiologists for analysis.
- Maintain and properly document exam paperwork and billing information daily.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, peers, and clients to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and X-ray equipment functionality.
- Hold valid state licensure and ARRT certification.
- Possess a valid driver's license in current good standing.
- Demonstrate ability to perform diagnostic radiologic procedures with technical proficiency.
- Be physically capable of pushing/pulling up to 50-100 lbs., utilizing assistive devices as needed.
- Comply with healthcare facility safety, safety protocols, and vaccination requirements.
- Prior experience in mobile radiology services preferred.
- Gain experience working in diverse healthcare environments and expanding technical skills.
