Tech - Mammography

n Job Summary:n
n Performs specialized mammography examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases. Operates advanced imaging equipment and provides patient-centered clinical care while ensuring high-quality imaging standards.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Conducts diagnostic and screening mammograms as ordered by physicians.n
• n Prepares patients for procedures while promoting privacy and comfort.n
• n Assists radiologists with complex mammography procedures, including biopsies.n
• n Produces clear, diagnostic-quality images and completes thorough documentation.n
• n Educates patients on the exam process and post-procedure instructions.n
• n Adheres to infection control, safety protocols, and organizational policies.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.n
• n Minimum of two years recent mammography technologist experience preferred.n
• n Valid Radiologic Technologist License (OBMI) in Oregon required.n
• n ARRT-Mammography certification required in Oregon; preferred in CA and HI.n
• n Current BLS certification from an approved provider.n
• n Strong technical skills and attention to detail in imaging procedures.n
