CT Technologist

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images used for diagnosing medical conditions. Performs various imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy to support patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to capture high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
  • Assess patient needs and provide appropriate imaging procedures for a wide age range from adolescents to geriatrics.
  • Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images securely and accurately.
  • Maintain proper documentation, records, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and manage supply inventory of imaging equipment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Hold an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
  • Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) with ARRT certification.
  • Possess advanced certification in CT modality (required in OR and HI, preferred in CA).
  • Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Hold venipuncture certification (preferred in CA and OR).
  • Comply with state-specific licensing and certification requirements where applicable.
