Tax SupervisorWe are working with a well-established midsize public accounting firm that is looking to add a Tax Supervisor to their growing team in Honolulu.This is a hybrid position with a few days in the office in Honolulu, HI.Key Responsibilities:Review complex federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, partnerships, trusts, and estatesProvide tax planning and consulting services to a wide range of local clientsSupervise and mentor junior staff, providing training and review feedbackResearch tax issues and stay up to date with changes in tax legislationCommunicate with clients on tax-related matters and manage client relationshipsCollaborate with partners and managers to ensure deadlines and client expectations are metRequirements:Minimum 4-6+ years of recent experience in public accounting, with a focus on taxCPA license or in progressStrong knowledge of tax compliance for various entities (individual, corporate, S-corp, partnership, trust, LLC)Excellent communication and organizational skillsExperience supervising and mentoring junior staff is preferredProficiency in tax and accounting software
