The candidate will manage client engagements, oversee tax planning and compliance, and serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and high-net-worth individuals.
The role combines technical expertise with relationship management and team leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of clients, including small to mid-sized businesses and high-net-worth individuals, ensuring timely delivery of accounting, tax and advisory servicesProvide proactive tax planning and business advisory services, including entity structuring, cash flow analysis, and profitability improvementSupervise and participate in the preparation and review of complex individual, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, trust, and estate tax returnsRespond to IRS and state notices, manage audits, and handle tax authority correspondenceServe as the primary point of contact for clients, leading meetings and delivering actionable insightsEnsure compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations and reporting requirementsOversee and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting workpapersReview and approve account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysisManage multiple client engagements, deadlines, and prioritiesMentor, train, and develop staff and senior accountantsCollaborate with firm leadership on client strategy, practice development, and process improvementsSupport business development efforts, including identifying opportunities to expand services within existing client relationshipsWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for team members who are driven, detail-oriented, and client-focused.
