Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and file federal and state tax returns;
- Develop tax strategies to assist clients in being tax-compliant;
- Identify tax problems and develop solutions;
- Complete responses and schedules in preparation for income tax audits;
- Monitor developments in tax legislation;
- Inform management and staff of developments in tax legislation;
- Supervise members of the tax team to ensure that tax returns are completed correctly;
- Manage multiple projects efficiently and identify opportunities to grow the company’s client base.
- Supervise the work of Accountants and Auditors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or related;
- 24 months work experience as Tax Senior, Tax Specialist, or similar role;
- 2 years experience must include working with multinational clients on tax planning.
