Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in accounting and tax.
- MUST have extensive experience preparing Individual, Corporate and Partnership Tax Returns.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Excel, Google Sheets, and multiple Tax software.
- Current CPA license required.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- CCH Axcess Tax experience required.
- QuickBooks proficiency is required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state return filings for Individuals and Business Returns.
- Review financial statements and prepare adjusting journal entries as necessary.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication and exceptional service.
- Prepare quarterly tax estimates and year-end projections.
- Assist with Tax Planning for new and existing clients.
- Research and analyze tax positions in connection with the preparation of returns.
- Frequent phone calls to the IRS.
