Position Overview

A leading public accounting and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to oversee complex tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals, professional services clients, trusts, partnerships, S-Corporations, and related entities .

This is a highly client-facing opportunity for a tax professional who can lead sophisticated tax planning and compliance engagements, manage client relationships, mentor tax professionals, and contribute to long-term client growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review complex tax engagements involving:
  • High-net-worth individuals
  • Partnerships
  • S-Corporations
  • Trusts
  • Gift tax
  • Related entities
• Serve as a primary tax advisor to HNW and professional services clients.
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning around:
  • Compensation structures
  • K-1 allocations
  • Multi-state taxation
  • Entity structuring
• Lead multiple client engagements while managing budgets, workflow, and deadlines.
• Review the work of staff and senior tax professionals.
• Mentor, develop, and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Coordinate with attorneys, wealth advisors, and other outside professionals on client matters.
• Research and resolve complex tax issues.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and provide practical recommendations to clients.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.

Required Qualifications

• Active CPA license — required.
• 7+ years of public accounting tax experience — required.
• Strong technical expertise in:
  • HNW individual taxation
  • Partnership taxation
  • S-Corporation taxation
  • Trust taxation
  • Pass-through taxation
• Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and leading tax engagements.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Stable employment history.
