Position Overview

The CCK Strategies Tax Project Manager is responsible for tackling complex tax issues, identifying strategic tax planning and other consulting opportunities, and cultivating client relationships. The firm is interested in enterprising candidates who appreciate CCK’s approach and how we engage business owners in every stage of their business’s life cycle while closely working with Tax Team Leaders and Tax Partners.

Responsibilities

• Detail review of tax returns and workpapers.
• Create strategies with tax leaders and partners for best client solutions.
• Manage client communication throughout the year.
• Manage tax engagements including compliance and planning.
• Work with analysts, seniors, and leadership to ensure timely completion of projects and deliver excellent client care.
• Coaching and developing tax seniors and tax analysts.

• Excellent computer skills, including all MS Office applications and Adobe Acrobat.
• Technology savvy, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software.
• Proactive problem solver who anticipates the unexpected.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm and managing client relationships.
