Position OverviewSystem Administrator/System Engineer who is passionate and a creative problem solver who thrives on being customer service oriented. This is a unique opportunity to exercise a great degree of freedom and creativity to architect and prototype new systems providing new capabilities and solutions to a customer that is transitioning to the next phase of their technical roadmap. This is NOT a standard System Administrator position requiring off-hours/weekend/on-call support, but it does require hands-on skills building, configuring, and managing a small number of VMs.ResponsibilitiesCreating and maintaining new technical solutions.Hands-on administration of the supported VMs, including standard O&M activities such as applying patches/updates and implementing system configuration changes as needed.Enhancing existing applications by integrating new technology components and capabilities.Assisting the customer in understanding and evaluating new technologies with respect to their current and future needs.
