Systems Administrator

Salary: $85,000 - 125,000 per year Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship.
• An active U.S. government security clearance, or one held within the past 24 months; selected candidates must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Hire dates depend on issuance of an interim or final clearance.
• At least six years of server administration experience, preferably in a Department of Defense facility.
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, a previous Microsoft server-related certification, or CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Ability to talk, see, and hear; sit and stand; perform repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movements; and lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Successful completion of professional reference checks, employment history verification, and background screening.

• Support enterprise Microsoft server environments, including Microsoft Server 2019, Active Directory, Windows 11 clients, WSUS, and/or MECM.
• Install, configure, and patch applications and Windows operating systems, and use MECM to report on application installation status, client health, and related data.
• Provide technical support by installing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on servers.
• Work with the cybersecurity branch to address workstation security issues identified during routine checks.
• Take part in application and hardware deployments, testing, and special projects as needed.
• Apply and uphold Windows server administration standards, policies, and guidelines.
• Maintain documentation for key applications supporting computer systems.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain operating systems and software packages to meet mission requirements.
• Schedule installations and upgrades in accordance with NEC policies.
• Tune systems to improve performance and ensure data can be recovered.
