Sustaining Engineer - Chassis SystemsOur client, a leading innovator in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a Sustaining Engineer to join their team. As a Sustaining Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting Chassis Systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.Own sustaining engineering and corrective action development for chassis systems across the in-service fleet and vehicles in current production, from root cause confirmation through fleet-wide implementationDrive end-to-end resolution of field and manufacturing issues across Steering, Suspension, and Brake systemsApply fleet and production data including MTBF, repeat failure rates, and downtime drivers to prioritize work, validate solutions, and drive continuous improvementLead and drive design updates and system improvements, ensuring robust performance, durability, efficiency, and serviceability in both fleet and production environmentsAuthor and manage Engineering Change Requests and Change Actions, and develop and execute validation plans at component, system, and vehicle levelsBS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline (MS preferred)6-8 years of experience in chassis related systems within a product development, manufacturing, or sustaining environmentDemonstrated ability to deliver subsystem level corrective actions that improve reliability, durability, manufacturability, or serviceability in production vehiclesExperience with root cause analysis, DFMEA, and product and process validationStrong communication and documentation skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple prioritiesOpportunity to work on cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technologyCollaborate with a passionate and innovative teamEngage in meaningful projects that impact fleet safety and reliabilityDevelop your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentBe part of a forward-thinking organization committed to continuous improvementMedical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanVision PlanHealth Savings AccountHealth Flexible Spending AccountDependent Care Flexible Spending AccountSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term and Long Term Disability InsuranceBusiness Travel Insurance401(k), Plus MatchWeekly Pay
