Position Highlights
- Work in a state‑of‑the‑art environment with experienced colleagues and mentorship from distinguished clinicians.
- Responsible for preparing and maintaining operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Competitive candidates have certification as scrub technologist and/or at least six months of experience as an Operating Room Technician.
- Team‑oriented academic medical setting requiring strong organization and communication skills.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Lead patient care experience by preparing and maintaining ORs.
- Collaborate with scheduling team, surgeons, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain a dynamic, problem‑solving environment while ensuring instrument and supply vigilance.
- Perform scrub role supporting patient safety and a sterile environment.
- Support post‑operative tasks: removal of contaminated instruments, decontamination, sterilization, and turnover of the OR.
Required Position Qualifications
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist program and at least one year of experience assisting clinical staff in operative procedures, or equivalent education/experience.
Compensation
- Hourly pay range: $34.77–$50.58.
- Shift differentials: Evening (+$1.75/hr), Night (+$5.00/hr), Weekends (+$4.00/hr).
