Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in identifying and diagnosing surgical conditions through analysis of imaging and lab results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance by preparing operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and supplying surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer exemplary pre- and post-operative care, comprising medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Strong preference for candidates who have completed clinical rotations focused on surgical practices

Certifications Needed

• Current and active PA-C certification
• Up-to-date BLS and ACLS certifications
• State licensure (or eligibility) for practice as a Physician Assistant
