Supervisory Program Analyst
Job Description
Major duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Fact-finding and analysis of data (financial, cost, etc.) and preparation of managerial problems for review.
- Identifies areas of concern independently, as a result of thorough analyses, and presents these to management with recommendations for resolution.
- Closely involved with all CITC and Non-VA Care Coordination (NVCC) contracts and fund control points held by the Medical Center.
- Provides direction and oversight on the day to day operations of the CITC/NVCC unit.
- Formulates and maintains CITC/NVCC budget per program based on needs, and advises facility on distribution of funding.
- Oversees all aspects in CITC/NVCC budgeting and develops/maintains reporting mechanisms to monitor expenditures.
- Responsible for provider contract development and maintenance, including meeting with potential providers/vendors, initiating and assisting in contract negotiations, and ascertaining services and payment structures for provider contract and service existing contracts.
- Develops and maintains new and existing sources of information to monitor contract information and CITC/NVCC expenditures, projections, and budgets.
- Develops special projects and reports which encompass areas related to identifying potential and/or immediate cost savings for the Medical Center.
- Reviews the accuracy and adequacy of current financial, costing, and managerial reports.
- Assists in the development of improved, automated, and computerized managerial reports and reporting techniques.
- Provides a liaison role for the clinical services on administration of CITC/NVCC money, development of provider contracts, creation of service lines, and physician/provider relations.
- Participate with a variety of Medical Center committees as they relate to the position.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: Full-Time; Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Telework: This position may be authorized for Ad-Hoc telework. Telework eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.
