Denver, CO | Up to $155,000 Base + Benefits + Bonus Opportunities
Blayze Group is partnering with a well-established, family-owned Colorado General Contractor looking to appoint an experienced Superintendent to its Denver team.
The business has been established for more than 30 years and has developed a strong reputation across Colorado, delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial, education, municipal, community and technically complex construction projects.
This is a particularly good opportunity for a field-first Superintendent who understands construction from the ground up. The company values people who have progressed through the trades, particularly carpentry, and who can confidently lead subcontractors, manage schedules and keep projects moving.
The Role
- Take ownership of day-to-day field operations across commercial construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, manpower and site logistics
- Drive project schedules, maintain look-ahead plans and proactively manage delays
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers to maintain project milestones and deadlines
- Manage site safety, quality control and workmanship
- Review drawings and specifications, resolving field issues as they arise
- Oversee inspections, deliveries and construction sequencing
- Lead projects through construction and closeout
What We're Looking For
- Proven Superintendent experience with a Commercial General Contractor
- Strong commercial construction experience, ideally including ground-up projects
- Ideally progressed through carpentry or another hands-on construction trade
- Excellent scheduling and planning ability, with a proven record of keeping projects on track
- Comfortable developing and managing schedules without relying on a specific software package
- Strong subcontractor management, field coordination and leadership skills
- Stable employment history and experience delivering projects independently
- Based in the Denver or wider Colorado Front Range area
