Joining the team means working at the forefront of delivering innovative energy solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesProject ExecutionPrepare complex engineering deliverables for multiple or mega projectsConduct research to develop equipment and material recommendationsManage data and perform complex engineering calculationsDevelop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplinesLead larger production teams, coordinate multi-discipline activities, and serve as the responsible charge for a projectClient InterfaceIdentify key client interests and drivers for moderately complex projectsCommunicate client concerns to project team members and develop solutionsProvide support for business development or pursuit activitiesManage project changes directly with the client under Project Manager supervisionTechnical ExpertiseLead large multi-discipline teams to meet project deliverablesProvide technical leadership for complex substation projectsDrive solutions to achieve project goalsManagement ResponsibilitiesReview lower-level engineering work or assignmentsResponsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of subordinatesPreferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) license highly preferredExperience managing Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) or design services substation and switchyard projects for investor-owned utilities in the U.S.At least five years of substation design experience with strong understanding of project lifecycle, layout design and optimization, relay protection & control, civil/structural design, and major substation equipmentStrong communication skills and ability to build client relationshipsAdvanced knowledge of engineering design principles, guides, and standardsWorking knowledge of procurement processes and contract administrationFamiliarity with proposal processes and developing engineering estimatesMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree in engineering from an accredited programMinimum of 8 years related work experienceAbility to meet pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR search, as required by law/regulation)CertificationsProfessional registration or licensure in home country, or active pursuit of such registrationAdditional registrations may be required depending on assignmentOr refer someone
