Structures Engineer
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 8+ months- possible extension/conversion
Salary and Other Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is between $55.00/hr- $60.00/hr. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify structural maintenance records from previous operators
- Cross reference defects/modifications against FAA documentation, manuals, and approval authorities
- Validate structural repairs and service bulletin modifications were completed correctly
- Transfer verified records and maintenance history into TRAX.
- Support aircraft acquisition and onboarding processes
- Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, maintenance, compliance, and project teams
- Experience with similar airline maintenance/engineering management systems
- Freighter aircraft experience
- Retrofit / modification project exposure
- Maintenance documentation review & verification
- Experience utilizing aviation MRO/maintenance tracking software
- Structures Engineering background
