Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of structural engineers and designers.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring quality, profitability, and on-time delivery.
  • Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Provide technical guidance on a variety of structural projects across multiple market sectors.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Support business development efforts through networking, proposal preparation, and client engagement.
  • Review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and project deliverables.
  • Assist with staff recruiting, performance management, and professional development initiatives.
  • Drive department growth, operational improvements, and strategic planning efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required; SE license preferred.
  • 8+ years of structural engineering experience.
  • Previous experience leading teams, managing projects, or serving in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong background in structural design utilizing steel, concrete, wood, and masonry systems.
  • Experience with building design projects and multidisciplinary project coordination.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard structural analysis and design software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen with an interest in contributing to organizational growth.
