Senior HVAC Technician
Required Skills & Experience• 7+ years of facilities engineering or building operations experience within commercial buildings, industrial/manufacturing facilities, data centers, or similar environments. • Extensive experience operating, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems and related building infrastructure. • Experience with high-pressure boilers and central plant equipment. • Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and construction drawings. • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). • Familiarity with Energy Management Systems (EMS), Building Management Systems (BMS), and fire alarm systems. • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • High School Diploma/GED plus related trade school training or equivalent experience. • Universal EPA/CFC Certification. • Maryland Stationary Engineer License (Grade 1 or Grade 2).
Nice to Have Skills & Experience• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. • Maryland Stationary Engineer License (Grade 3, 4, or 5). • Marine Engineer Certificate or U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer certification with steam boiler training. • OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 Certification. • LEED Certification. • Maryland Journeyman or Master Electrician License. • Maryland Journeyman or Master Plumber License. • Hands-on experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) • Experience supervising maintenance teams and coordinating third-party vendors. • Strong background in energy management, facility audits, and capital project support.

This role ensures the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of building infrastructure while supervising maintenance activities, coordinating vendors, managing preventative maintenance programs, and supporting client facility operations.
