Job Summary
Staff pathologist at a community hospital with a cancer program and a wide range of clinical services that is part of a comprehensive health system.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with clinicians and laboratory staff with excellent communication skills.
- Perform and interpret frozen sections, cytology (both GYN and non‑GYN), and rapid on‑site cytology assessments.
- Conduct occasional autopsies.
Requirements
- MD or DO with completion of AP/CP Residency training.
- Board Certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
- Subspecialty training and/or experience is encouraged.
- Both experienced pathologists and those in fellowships are encouraged to apply.
- CT and NY State Medical License or eligibility to obtain an unrestricted medical license.
Compensation and Benefits
Full‑time salary range: $325,000 – $360,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Competitive base salary, incentive compensation, paid time off, CME allowance with time off, and 401(k) with match.
Per Diem Opportunities
Per diem opportunities also available at $225 per hour.

Position based at Danbury Hospital campus in Danbury, Connecticut.
