Summary
We are currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab. This position is a 0.7 FTE (7 shifts/payment period), 8‑hour shifts, days, on‑call per unit policy. Note: this position may cross‑train in Interventional Radiology.
Responsibilities
- Protecting, promoting, and optimizing health
- Preventing illness and injury
- Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response
- Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others
- Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 year of recent adult ICU and/or Cardiac Cath Lab professional nursing (RN) experience within the last 3 years
- ACLS Certification
- Ability to wear lead aprons during cases and be able to stand for long periods of time and assist with moving patients including wheelchairs, beds, and carts
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in area of clinical specialty
- BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
