Job Summary
Staff Design Engineer – HBM Design, working with Micron Technology’s innovative team to design and analyze digital and analog circuits for HBM Base die and Core DRAM die. Responsibilities include simulation, optimization, floor planning, and collaboration with global design and verification teams.
Responsibilities
Design and analyze digital and analog circuits, simulate and optimize HBM Base die and Core DRAM die circuits, collaborate with design and verification teams, lead floor‑planning and routing optimization, maintain design rules, perform reliability verification, assist in design validation, reticle experiments and tape‑out revisions, manage layout process, provide technical training, contribute to cross‑group communication, aid in documentation, participate in continuing education and competitor analysis, and drive innovation for future memory generations.
Qualifications
- CMOS circuit design, device physics, state machine logic and design verification techniques; high-speed circuit design and optimization.
- Development of memory behavioral models using SystemVerilog.
- Experience with HBM specification, design and verification.
- Verilog Testbench development and UVM.
- Layout extraction (SPF or SDF, etc.).
- Verilog‑Spice Co‑Sim.
- Scripting language (Python or Tcl).
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation, plus a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field.
