The Sponsored Products and Brands team at Amazon Ads is re‑imagining the advertising landscape through advanced generative AI technologies. We are at the forefront of reinventing advertising experiences, bridging human creativity with artificial intelligence to transform every aspect of the advertising lifecycle – from ad creation and optimization to performance analysis and customer insights.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager you will collaborate with partners across numerous domains including engineering, product, finance, and business intelligence. You will manage multiple projects across the Sponsored Products organization and help shape our engineering vision and roadmap through active collaboration with the leadership team.
Key responsibilities
- Successfully lead delivery of large, high‑impact initiatives across multiple teams and organizations.
- Work with stakeholders and senior leadership to develop product strategies, roadmaps, and detailed requirements.
- Apply strong, data‑driven business and technical judgment to decisions, assess risk, and drive clarity and urgency for delivery.
- Define mechanisms to optimize output and collaboration within the team and with partners.
- Help develop the team’s long‑term technical strategy based on business goals.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
- Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience building and evaluating system‑level technical design.
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
- Experience defining KPIs/SLA’s used to drive multi‑million‑dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
