BGIS is seeking a Senior Technical Facility Manager to join our team in Seattle, WA and surrounding areas .

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage service delivery for a portfolio of client buildings, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Provide guidance to BGIS team members servicing the client, including client relationship management, technical inspections, maintenance planning, and supervising repairs.
  • Manage strategic budgets and forecast future expenses.
  • Review contractor quality to ensure compliance with safety, health, environment, and regulatory standards.
  • Lead and exemplify BGIS values through positive leadership.

People Leadership:

  • Lead hiring, engagement, development, performance management, and retention activities.
  • Implement best practices and sustainable initiatives to improve efficiencies.
  • Act as escalation point for facility issues and communicate with vendors and clients effectively.

Portfolio & Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain effective client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and performance metrics are met.
  • Proactively communicate with client leadership and optimize operational costs.
  • Ensure uptime and safety of building equipment and systems.

Service Delivery Management:

  • Oversee facility management services, KPIs, and maintenance programs.
  • Evaluate and improve preventative and repair maintenance activities.
  • Supervise vendor performance and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Project & Budget Management:

  • Monitor expenditures, develop budgets, and collaborate with finance.
  • Manage project execution and vendor negotiations.

Sustainability & Compliance:

  • Ensure a safe work environment and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with EHS teams and respond to incidents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or certification in facilities management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years of technical facility management experience, preferably in hospitality or restaurant industries.
  • Strong leadership, communication, project management, and technical skills.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and industry best practices.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Certified Facility Manager (IFMA) or equivalent preferred.

Physical & Work Environment:

  • Ability to perform essential duties, including travel and responding to on-call requests.

The annual salary range for this exempt position in the US is $125,000-$145,000, depending on experience and location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package.
