Cross-Functional RoleThis cross-functional role focuses on developing scalable tools, optimizing processes, and building mechanisms that support multiple strategic teams across Amazon's One Grocery, specifically Amazon Now's hyperlocal strategies. The position serves as a critical bridge between the Central Selection, Insights Team, Trade Planning Team, Vendor Experience team, and Operations to build the local selection for grocery and ensuring efficient business processes and operations.Key job responsibilities:Create, scale, and optimize business processes across all teams to enhance efficiency, transparency, and effectivenessStreamline business development processes to support selection, trade execution, and vendor management operationsDevelop and implement launch plans to pilot and roll out platforms across teamsPartner with product and technology teams to develop automated tools that enable data-driven decision making across selection, trade planning, and vendor experience functionsCreate mechanisms that support operational requirements and standardsDefine requirements and tool selection for centralized project intake, project and portfolio managementCross-Functional Collaboration:Act as liaison between Central Selection & Insights, Trade Planning, and Vendor Experience teams, as well as cross-functional stakeholder teamsFacilitate trade-off discussions in terms of schedule, scope, and resourcesMaintain strong communication with category teams, operations, supply chain/in-stock and vendor management teams, among othersProgram Management:Manage work back schedules and oversee program documentationDrive continuous improvement of tools, processes, and analyticsDevelop user testing plans and ensure quality controlCreate and execute communication plans for process and tool rolloutsConduct post-implementation reviews and capture learningsStakeholder Management:Define RACI matrices for cross-functional initiativesEnsure appropriate stakeholder engagement through meetings, reviews, and communicationsPresent progress and recommendations to leadership teamsManage expectations across multiple teams with competing priorities
