IT Project ManagerThe Project Manager will perform responsibilities described herein and adequately provide overall project management to support the OMS 2.6 Upgrade Project, providing day to day leadership of project functions.Responsibilities include facilitation of team meetings, design sessions, providing project updates to stakeholders and project personnel, facilitating project schedule inputs and updates, creating, maintaining and communicating the project Risk register, creating, maintaining and communicating the project organization chart, maintaining and communicating on the project budget and forecast, and maintaining and completing their System Design Life Cycle (SDLC) documentation throughout the lifecycle of the project.Top priorities for the worker over the first few weeks/months include stakeholder management. The biggest challenge in this role is also stakeholder management.Education requirements include a Bachelor's degree. Certification requirements include PMP.
The role requires 5+ years of experience. Utility experience is preferred in the Operations space. Top must-haves include communication skills and stakeholder management, solid PM skills, and effective organization skills. Nice-to-haves include utility experience in the Operations space, PMP certification, and a technical background.
