Software EngineerDesign and develop business, application, data, and infrastructure solutions, seek opportunities to optimize performance, maintain and troubleshoot application components as required.Design and develop with consideration for Non-Functional Requirements (Scalability, Reliability, Availability, Observability, Fault Tolerance)Ensure that the Company's methodology, standards, and procedures are adopted and implementedDesign solutions to meet functional and technical requirementsWrite front-end and back-end code following the TDD (Test Driven Development) practiceDevelop delivery pipelines and automated deployment scriptsConfigure services, such as databases and monitoringFix problems from the development phase through the production phase, which requires being on call for production supportDesigning, prototyping and demonstrating new features and components of front-end and back-end to users to ensure compliance with requirementsAssisting in the design, implementation and optimization of related approaches, tools and workflowsCollaborate with the technical teams, business teams, and product managers to ensure that the code that is developed meets their visionAlign to Security/Compliance frameworks and controls requirementsImplement Service Reliability Engineerin Quals-- Minimum qualifications:5 or more years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer or related technical engineering capacity. Relevant technologies and programming languages include JAVA, Spring Boot, IBM MQ, Oracle Database table design, queries and optimization, AngularSolid grasp of Agile Methodologies.Demonstrable experience with DevOps principles, practices and tools.Experience engineering software within an Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure or other prominent enterprise cloud provider.Understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle, building CI/CD pipelines and practicing Test Driven Development is a requirement.Fundamental Awareness of Application Security principles and 12-factor application development principles is required.Experience with source control, build tools and GIT (GitHub, Bitbucket or other) is required.High School diploma, GED or High School Equivalency.Preferred qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field.Experience working in an airline technology environment.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
