Sr. Electrical EngineerOur client has an excellent opportunity for a talented Sr. Electrical Engineer to support Federal, ports, and/or infrastructure projects in Seattle, WA.The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience designing electrical systems for federal, ports, and/or infrastructure projects.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPre-Design Engineering Perform field surveys for the design of electrical systems, gather information, and prepare site assessment reportsPrepare electrical schematic designsDesign Engineering Design power single line and riser diagramsPerform electrical calculations (arc flash, coordination, short circuit, voltage drop, load flow) using ETAP/SKMDesign low voltage and medium voltage infrastructureUnderstand and utilize CAD/BIM standardsApply National Electrical Code, Washington Codes, and Energy Standards in designing electrical systemsCoordinate with other disciplines including mechanical, plumbing, telecom, civil, structural, and architecturalProject Management Manage multiple large-scale projects involving other senior engineers and sub-consultantsProvide mentorship to design engineersPrepare client proposals independentlyDevelop business with new and existing clientsConstruction Administration Review and respond to RFIsReview equipment submittalsPerform punch walks and prepare punch list reportsQualifications & RequirementsEducation & Licenses Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical EngineeringRegistered Professional Engineer license requiredExperience Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical designExperience leading electrical design projects and teamsExperience performing QA/QC on electrical projects and mentoring engineersSkills & Technical Knowledge Demonstrated project management skillsProficiency with AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM; Revit is a plusStrong record-keeping and organizational skillsDetail-oriented, self-motivated, inquisitive, and able to work in a fast-paced environmentMust be a US CitizenCodes & Standards National Electrical Code – requiredWashington State Codes – requiredUnified Facilities Criteria – preferredBenefits13 observed company-paid holidays per yearMedical, dental, and vision plansEmployer-paid group life insuranceSupplemental insurance options (Accident, Critical Illness, Pet Insurance)Tuition & training assistance401(k) program with immediate vesting and 100% employer match, up to 4% of employee compensation
