Demand Planner at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will contribute to supply chain excellence and customer success. You will be responsible for developing and managing credible demand signals and working closely with internal stakeholders and customers to create accurate 18-24-month rolling forecasts. Managing the monthly Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, you will facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align commercial strategies with operational capabilities. You will analyze historical data, market trends, and customer insights to optimize inventory levels while maintaining high service levels. Through regular engagement with commercial teams and customers, you will build effective partnerships to enhance forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement.

You will also support new product introductions, manage product lifecycle transitions, and provide critical insights for strategic business decisions. This role provides the opportunity to contribute meaningfully by ensuring the reliable supply of products that help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You will implement process improvements, support team members, and contribute to the organization's operational excellence initiatives.Keys to Success:Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience and at least 5 years in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chainAPICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) preferredStrong proficiency in statistical forecasting methodologies and SIOP/IBP processesExperience with ERP systems and the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsExcellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagementExperience with demand planning software (Demantra, Kinaxis, or similar tools)Proven track record of improving forecast accuracy and reducing biasStrong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilitiesExperience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferredKnowledge of Power BI and Salesforce.com preferredStrong business acumen and understanding of manufacturing processesDemonstrated leadership abilities and mentoring skillsExperience facilitating meetings and driving consensus across stakeholder groupsBenefits:We offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits.
