Reporting & Analytics AnalystA role on the Reporting & Analytics team with Financial Planning & Analysis means belonging to a great team of genuine, diverse, courageous and versatile people who put integrity and ethics at the heart of everything they do. You'll play a key role in delivering standardized, accurate, and insightful financial reporting across FP&A. This role partners closely with finance leaders and business stakeholders to design, automate, and enhance reporting solutions that drive data-informed decision-making.
As part of a centralized Reporting & Analytics team, this analyst will support multiple FP&A functions (Merch Finance, Marketing, Stores, Supply Chain, Corporate Finance, Capital) by providing scalable reporting, dashboarding, and analytical insights.About you:Four-year degree or equivalent experience3+ years as a Data Analyst with strong academic performance in a quantitative field; or strong equivalent experienceAdvanced SQL experience writing complex queriesIntermediately accomplished with Python or RKnowledge of forecasting models including statistical analysisAdvanced data visualization skills; building interactive, executive ready dashboards in tools like Power BI, Looker, Tableau, etc.Solid problem solving, analytical skills, data curiosity, data mining, data creation and consolidationSupport conclusions with a clear, understandable story that leverages descriptive statistics, basic inferential statistics, and data visualizationsWillingness to ask questions about business objectives and the measurement needs for a project workstream, and be able to measure objectives & key resultsExcellent communication skills with the ability to speak to both business and technical teams, and translate ideas between themExperience in analytics tools such as: SQL, Excel, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Python, R, Domo, Adobe Analytics (or Google Analytics) and/or equivalent technologiesThis position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
