Direct Hire | Waianae, HI (Onsite) | Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm | $130K-$145K
Lead an 11-person Accounting Department overseeing general accounting, AP/AR, cash management, grants, investments, debt financing and tax compliance. You'll own accurate, timely monthly financial statements and serve as the organization’s expert on audits, including Single Audits (Uniform Guidance). You'll also make sure internal controls are strong and every funding source, including federal grants, stays in compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of healthcare or nonprofit accounting/finance experience
- 3-5 years leading accounting teams
- Experience preparing financial statements for multiple entities or funds
- Extensive experience managing external audits and Single Audits
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, FASB, fund accounting and nonprofit reporting
- CPA and HRSA/federal grant experience strongly preferred
