We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements for critical healthcare reporting and tracking software systems.

You will work closely with operational units to translate complex needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria, manage work items in Azure DevOps, and support high-priority system integration projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Requirements Management: Partner with key business stakeholders to gather, analyze, refine, and document functional and technical requirements.
• Agile Work Item Delivery: Translate business needs into detailed user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria using Azure DevOps.
• Stakeholder Facilitation: Lead and facilitate meetings with operational and technical stakeholders to define project scopes, clarify needs, and prioritize backlog items.
• System Integration Support: Coordinate across internal teams, external healthcare institutions, and business partners to support the implementation and integration of state/federal reporting frameworks.
• Testing & Validation: Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), create test scenarios, and validate delivered functionality against specified acceptance criteria.
• Process Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for business workflows, operational processes, and system architectural changes.
• Production & Operational Support: Provide issue analysis, root-cause troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations for ongoing system maintenance.
• Project Communication: Track progress, risks, dependencies, and deliverables while providing clear updates to cross-functional leadership.

Key Qualifications
• Deep experience working as a Business Analyst within complex software development life cycles (SDLC).
• Direct experience with healthcare IT systems, hospital workflows, or public health data exchanges/integrations.
• Strong proficiency with Azure DevOps (or similar Agile lifecycle tools like Jira) for managing backlog items, user stories, and traceabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional meetings and manage competing priorities among technical and non-technical partners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Working Conditions:
• Location: Hybrid (Nashville, TN Max 4 times per year on-site)
• Work Schedule: Standard Business Hours (37.5 hours/week, Monday Friday)
• Residency Requirement: Candidates must reside in Tennessee or establish residency prior to their start date.
