This position will focus on maintenance, development, implementation and support of an existing application.Role/Responsibilities:Development, implementation and support of Java applications including technical specifications, use cases, class diagrams, unit testing and code reviews, coordinating all IT and UAT testing support tasks, work around reported defects, performing application builds, and coordinating implementations to the various development, test and production environments. Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and recommends technical solutions.
Production support including off -hours trouble shooting, support and migrationsRequired Skills:3 years experience in development in Java/J2EE and related technologiesExperience with Eclipse, Java, GitLab and ArtifactoryExperience working with databases including JDBC and SQLExperience with creating complex queries, stored procs, triggers, functions and jobsAbility to troubleshoot and mitigate issues related to SQL queriesAnalyze issues related to SQL performance and improve on themExperience with ServiceNow for Change ManagementFull life cycle experience including, analysis, design, code, test and deployment.Application development, production implementation, and production support.Good verbal and written communications required.Strong team player and ability to multi-task
