Cost Program Manager For SPMO In F6Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.As a Cost Program Manager for SPMO in F6, the individual is responsible for setting the site cost budget, reporting to variance in budget and identifying cost savings IPP goals. The program manager will manage a team that monitors materials forecasting, area cost management and global program management rollouts. The individual is also the main contact between Facilities, ISM and Procurement.Program Manager Roles and ResponsibilitiesUnderstands thoroughly the business plan and defines the program roadmap with sponsor based on itManages program metrics and goals to support business planDrives program progress on schedule to achieve goalsIdentifies and mitigates risks and issue and escalate to sponsors as appropriateUtilizes PDCA closed loop management review to continually improve program effectiveness and efficiencyReport program status, wins, issues, and actions to program sponsor for broadcasting to site leadership team and stakeholdersUnderstands benchmarking landscape within Micron and outside, identify opportunities and drive improvementsDrive network BKM sharing through network peers and PAC managers using globally aligned sharing platformDrive implementation of global projects at local siteProgram and Metric ManagementUnderstand business plan and how it ties to strategic objectivesDefine program roadmap with sponsors based on business planDefine and manage program metrics and goals to support business planEnsure accurate and up-to-date charter for the programEnsure appropriate stakeholders, and deliverables and scheduleDrive program progress on scheduleIdentify and mitigate risks and issue and escalate to sponsors when appropriateUtilizes PDCA closed loop and management review to continually improve the program effectiveness and efficiencyMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor degree in Engineering Business, Engineering, or Supply ChainProven track record to work cross-functionally and across organizationsDemonstrated ability to work with Senior Management and translate ambiguity into actionDetail oriented with ability to see the big pictureExcellent organizational skillsExcellent oral and written presentation skills and a great teammate attitudePreferred Qualifications:Experience in storage, memory or tech-related field with experience in consumer productsKnowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes
