About the Role:

As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing speech therapy services to our residents, including assessment, treatment, and education. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. Your expertise will help residents improve their communication skills, regain independence, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of residents' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide speech therapy services, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language therapy
• Implement and modify interventions to meet the unique needs of each resident
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Document resident progress and communicate with families and healthcare teams
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Clinical Fellowship (CF) completion or equivalent experience
• Kansas state licensure and certification in Speech-Language Pathology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassion and empathy for seniors and their families
