Conduct evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments and observational techniques.
Create individualized treatment plans designed to meet both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions addressing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families, to devise and implement comprehensive care strategies.
Provide education to patients and families, equipping them with tools to support progress beyond clinical sessions.
Assist with occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, prioritizing continuity of care throughout our patients' journeys.
Ensure timely and precise documentation adheres to state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
Remain engaged in the field through continuing education and collaborative peer interactions.
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a respected institution.
Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if you are not yet ASHA-certified.
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first thirty days of employment.
Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods applicable to all age groups, with a profound understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills when interacting with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated ability to adjust therapy techniques to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Strong clinical judgment and adept problem-solving capabilities.
