Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working in a school environment is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage a diverse caseload effectively
- Understanding of current best practices in speech and language therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with applicable regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the success of each student
- Offer guidance on language interventions and support classroom integration
