Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Portland, OR

Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Previous experience working in a school environment is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to organize and manage a diverse caseload effectively
• Understanding of current best practices in speech and language therapy

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with applicable regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the success of each student
• Offer guidance on language interventions and support classroom integration
