Assess and evaluate patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, utilizing both standardized assessments and observations to inform your approach.
Craft individual treatment plans aimed at fulfilling both short-term objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
Deliver engaging one-on-one speech therapy sessions, focusing on areas such as language acquisition, voice modulation, fluency, and swallowing techniques.
Work closely with an interdisciplinary team that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to implement integrated care strategies.
Provide essential education for patients and families to promote active participation in therapy and progress following sessions.
Contribute to inpatient evaluations and interventions when required, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
Document findings and treatment plans accurately and promptly while adhering to state, federal, and organizational standards.

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is necessary if not yet ASHA-certified.
Must possess state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
Adept in evidence-based treatment methodologies for all age ranges, with a solid grasp of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Outstanding interpersonal communication skills for building rapport with patients, families, and multi-disciplinary care teams.
Ability to tailor therapeutic techniques to accommodate a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Strong problem-solving capabilities and clinical judgment.
Competent in utilizing electronic medical records and meeting documentation requirements.
