Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - El Monte, CA

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current CA Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility)
• Previous experience with school-aged children in educational or clinical settings preferred
• Familiarity with IEP process and special education procedures
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Provide direct interventions in individual and group formats as needed
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
• Provide resources and support for staff and parents regarding student communication needs
