Sonar System TechnicianManassas, VirginiaDescription: Be a part of the Advanced Development Team on the Integrated Common Processor (ICP) program. The ICP program provides a common Integrated Undersea Surveillance Systems (IUSS) signal processing and display system software and hardware suite for the US Navy. Work with our team as we develop cutting edge tools for our Navy customer as we explore the integration of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning capabilities into tactical systems.In this position you will be responsible for:Validating AI/ML algorithm results - reviewing system outputs and labeling false alerts on live data setsGenerating data sets for use by the team in system testing and algorithm developmentMaintaining the tactical system, ensuring it remains operationalUtilize program documentation to troubleshoot and maintain HW/SW components with engineers available via phone supportTesting software baseline and system updates by exercising system capabilities during Cycle Checkpoint testsTraveling independently to the tactical site to assist with data labeling and tactical system maintenance (up to 25% of the time)Basic Qualifications:Qualified candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
