Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!This role is part of Blue Origin's Engines – Advanced Engines business unit, focused on the design, development, testing, and operation of advanced systems that power the next generation of Blue Origin programs. As a Software Integration Engineer, you will deploy and integrate "River," our Electron-based command and control (C2) application, onto test stands and control hardware—bringing up driver-level PLC and packaged control surfaces, validating data storage and real-time send/receive, and troubleshooting in the loop.

Passion for our mission and vision is required!Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Deploy, configure, and integrate River (Electron/TypeScript/Node.js) onto test stands and control hardwareBring up and validate driver-level PLC and packaged control surface communications (Modbus and other industrial protocols)Verify data storage, manipulation, and real-time send/receive workflows in the integrated environmentBuild, package, and manage software releases and deployments to operational systemsTroubleshoot issues across the software/hardware boundary during integration and testingPartner with software, controls, avionics, and test engineers to resolve anomalies and improve integration workflowsDevelop and execute integration test procedures; capture results and lessons learnedMinimum Qualifications:B.S. in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field2+ years of relevant software, integration, or test experienceWorking proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, or a comparable languageExperience integrating, deploying, or troubleshooting software on hardware in a test or operational environmentMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S.

as a refugee or granted asylum.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Electron applications and build/release (CI/CD) pipelinesHands-on experience with PLCs and industrial protocols (Modbus, etc.) at the driver levelFamiliarity with time-series data, high-rate data acquisition, or real-time communicationExperience with command and control or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test environmentsAbility to read schematics, P&IDs, or interface control documentsAbility to support off shifts as neededWhy Blue Origin:We are a team of problem solvers united by a passion for our mission:for the benefit of Earth.
