Augusta, GA.The Software Integration Engineer will design and build connections between software platforms, through APIs, middleware, event pipelines, and data feeds to connect disparate applications, platforms, and services.
Responsible for ensuring integration meets requirements for performance, security, and compliance through end-to-end testing.Responsibilities:Design API integrations between enterprise systemsDeveloping, testing, and debugging code to ensure integrated systems function correctlyBuild and maintain integration pipelines using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and event-driven messaging (Kafka, Azure Service Bus, SQS)Create and maintain API documentationDebug integration failures systematicallyConduct integration testing across system boundaries, including negative testing for error and edge casesCollaborate with technical teams and third-party API providers during integration development and issue resolutionMonitor integration health through dashboards and alerts; respond to failures and degraded connectivity in productionRequired Qualifications:United States citizenActive TS/SCI clearanceBachelor's degree in CS, Information Systems, or Software EngineeringTrack record of end-to-end integration ownership: design, build, deploy, and monitorMinimum 8 years of relevant experienceStrong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex integration challengesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Desired Qualifications:Active CI PolyExperience in managing large and complex software and mission integration projects.Experience in working with a variety of business leaders, IT professionals, and customersThe anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000.
