Software Engineering Manager AI/ML (Sight & Sense)

Location: Dearborn, MI (Onsite)
Required Qualifications
- Boston’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.
- 5+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience with AI/ML, Computer Vision, or data‑driven products.
- Strong understanding of the ML lifecycle, including data engineering, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Experience leading Agile teams and managing sprint delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow software and data engineering teams.
- Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle for AI/ML-based Sight & Sense products.
- Provide technical leadership for software architecture, MLOps, and systems integration.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to define roadmaps and deliver solutions.
- Drive engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring.
- Support deployment of AI solutions in manufacturing environments and ensure scalability and reliability.
- Promote innovation through Agentic AI workflows and AI‑assisted engineering tools.
Preferred Skills
- Computer Vision and MLOps experience.
- Manufacturing, Smart Factory, or Industrial AI background.
- Experience deploying AI models at the edge.
