About Team

As a Software Engineer III on the Walmart International Operations engineering team which is the forefront of building Omni-channel transactional systems (Cart, Checkout, Payments and Promotions) for both our eCommerce and store customers. Our team is growing, and we are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer who will be playing a crucial role in the implementation of multi-tenant, and transactional services for our global customers, both ecommerce and stores. Our team collaborates with Walmart International, which has over 5,900 retail units operating outside of the United States under 55 banners in 26 countries including Africa, Argentina, Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Japan, and Mexico, to name a few.

What you'll do

  • Working with product to understand the requirements, create low level design and implement.
  • Working with other dependent teams and make sure your low-level design will satisfy their requirements as well.
  • You will be working with a team who adopted TDD/Shift left test approach. Should be able to fit into that group well.

What you'll bring

  • Ability to understand a business requirement , convert it to a working low-level design and implement with proper testing.
  • Ability to debug current code and integrate new functionalities to it by making sure new and existing use cases are working as expected.
  • Ability to come up with enough use cases for a customer functionality.
  • Ability to deliver fast without compromising code or functional quality.
  • Agentic Frameworks: Implement multi-agent workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI or AutoGen.
  • Tool Integration: Develop custom tool-calling capabilities, allowing agents to interact with external APIs, databases, and SaaS tools.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Stock.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Option 2: 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area.
