Software Engineer – Development

• Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge software solutions
• Implement identified software components using design documentation and functional programming specifications
• Document and unit-test implemented components
• Prepare components for integration into the final product
• Architect solutions, test code, and deploy and build CI/CD pipelines
• Provide work estimates for assigned development work
• Guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties
• Drive innovation and take ownership of software development work
• Collaborate with team members and develop problem-solving, collaboration, and automation skills

Requirements

• US citizenship or full green card holder status required
• 2+ years experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects
• Excellent coding skills and development experience with Java, Python, .Net, or similar
• Debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience with software development methodologies and developing scalable, robust software
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, containers such as Docker and Kubernetes, and messaging queues
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
• Certification in one or more hyperscalers: Azure, AWS, or Google GCP (preferred; certifications may be obtained with Kyndryl)
• Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices (preferred)
• Successful candidate must work onsite 5 days a week in Frisco, Texas
