Software EngineerWe are seeking a dedicated software engineer to join our team.

The role focuses on developing and maintaining applications in the CAD/CAE domain, utilizing a variety of programming languages and frameworks. This position requires a strong understanding of software engineering principles, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Required Skills & Qualifications5 years of experience with Java full stack to design scalable web applications using microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.3 years of experience with Angular for creating user-friendly front-end interfaces.Experience with SQL/Oracle databases or PostgreSQL.Google Cloud Platform (GCP) development and deployment experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in functional, integration, and regression testing.Familiarity with GitHub or equivalent source control repositories.Experience with test-driven development practices.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities.Ability to work independently and take initiative when facing unexpected problems.Prior work experience in the client's industry.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & QualificationsExperience with Agile development methodologies.Experience in Jira.Familiarity with development practices such as TDD/BDD.Well-versed in design principles such as OOP.Experience in AI development.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesEngage with customers to understand their use-cases, pain points, and requirements.Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering software solutions.Assess software application requirements and determine the most suitable technology stack.Create high-level software architecture designs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product owners, designers, and architects.Define and implement software test strategies and processes.Continuously improve performance and optimize applications.Support security practices to safeguard user data.Create user-friendly and interactive interfaces.Develop and maintain back-end applications like APIs and microservices.Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies to enhance solutions.For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process.
